Time to get your paws in the dirt! Well, your feet and your furry friend’s paws. Ruff Race is a chill-as-you-like 5k around Snowshoe for you and your best friends. This course starts in the Village, winds through loaming Spruce forests, and ends back in the Village.

Downhill Southeast is no stranger to Snowshoe Mountain, but this year we’re changing a few things. Most notably there will be 2 rounds of racing on our island in the sky. This first round will take place on the Basin-side trails offering a shorter and tighter race course than our classic Western Territory course (which will be featured in round 2).
Round up your golf buddies and head to the mountain for the Snowshoe Foundation Golf Tournament. This four-person best ball tournament is a fundraiser for the Snowshoe Foundation at The Raven Golf Course. The best part: even if you don’t win the game, you’ll be contributing to improving the quality of life in the region and ensuring that Snowshoe continues to be a special place for years to come.
The first official race of the Hotdogs and Handlebars series will feature the new section of Whistle Pig. This race is designed to be fun and progressive, great for those just getting into the wonderful sport of downhill.
Snowshoe wouldn’t be Snowshoe without our amazing community. That’s why we’re hooking our locals up with FREE Fun Passes on Sunday, June 16! Come on up and enjoy some mountain fun, on us. Includes access to Split Rock Pools, Shaver’s Lake activities, eurobungy and climbing wall, and scenic lift rides. Valid for residents of Pocahontas, Randolph, and Webster counties.
TENNNNNNNNNN SECONDS! Perhaps the rowdiest and definitely the gnarliest event of the Snowshoe summer season, GNCC racing makes its return to 4,848’. GNCC features 3 days of off-road racing including E-Bikes, ATVs, and Dirt Bikes. Known as the toughest GNCC round on the circuit, this course features sections of deep mud, slippery roots, steep hills, and high-speed dirt road sections. It is not an event to miss.
